28 Silver Every 10 Minutes, EL Access Required (Eq2 dirge)

June 27th, 2009

This is a way to earn 28 silver every ten minutes!

Just head to Enchanted Lands and speak to the girl beneath the docks. She will give you a quest to kill a couple of turtles, bears, badgers, wasps, or beetles.

This is a repeatable quest, so for example.

You're in a group and you want to kill some turtles, the girl will give you a quest but it varies

it can be badgers, wasps, bears, turtles or beetles. If one of your group members has the quest of the turtles and you don't have it………j delete the quest you received and ask again. Repeat until she gives you the turtle quest, they are the easiest of all the animals she asks you to kill.

By repeating this quest over and over you can earn some great cash in a short time! Just keep on repeating that Quest!

Just get a small group, 2 or 3 people should be enough……not even a healer is required.

Tickets in Qeynos Harbor from Harbor master.Cost 60S. Gives you direct trip to lands opened by Most ACCESS Quests. ZEK, EL , Ferrott (I am assuming Everfrost and Lavastorm also)

Lavastorm Access (EQ2 Vs WoW)

June 25th, 2009

Lavastorm was recently added to the game finished as a zone. To enter

the zone you must do the following things: You must go to the top NE

location of Enchanted Lands near the nightblood tower. There will be

a docks nearby that you can right click to enter the boatride with 3

to 6 people. To enter the boat ride you must either be level 41 or

have Everfrost Access through the boatride not auto level 42 access.

Lavastorm also grants access automatically to level 42's and above.

Inside Lavastorm is a seperate zone called Solusek's Eye or SOLa

people from everquest 1 will call. This is a comparable zone to

Permafrost but with a slightly higher experience modifier. Najena is

also rumored to be in game but is not live yet and the entrance is

blocked off with large stones.

Complete Multiple Sabotage Quests at Once (Everquest 2 PVP)

June 23rd, 2009

When doing the sabotage quests, when you speak to the NPC and the quest window pops up, drag the window to the side instead of accecpting the quest. Then speak to him again and you will keep getting the quest windows. you can do this repeatidly to get all the sabotage quests in the tier you are currently in( instead of having to do one, then go do turn in and repeat that process). Once no more quests are popping up you can click accecpt on all the windows at once allowing you to do them all at once getting them done much faster and get LOTS of exp.

You should also note that you cant turn in any Sabatoge quests until there all completed.

If there not all completed he'll tell you to come back once you've completed your task.

Unlimited Stilletto's Orders (Eq2 trader)

June 20th, 2009

As many of you know you get Stilletto's Orders from killing Stilletto in the Southwest of Thundering Steppes, which is the starter quest for the Manastone. Since the patch they now drop from his corpse and not a box. So the trick here is to find stilletto and kill only him and not his two henchmen and loot his body. Then run away to break the encounter and stilletto will respawn, if you have a full group you can get every one of their orders and still leave stilletto for another group.

Keep in mind that this is a LORE item so you will only be able to hold onto one at a time.

1 Gold - 8 Gold Per Night (Eq2 npc)

June 18th, 2009

I am now lvl 18/24 (18 adventuring class/ 24 tradeskill) and assume the profits im making are unusual for my level. if im wrong, or you have better methods, then ignore this. im making from 1gp to 8gp per night, while i sleep, using the following methods. i made another 7gp last night, and have about 30gp worth of items to resell stocked up, i figure some of you might find this worthwhile as well.

I have three things I do every night to make money. Each is simple, and requires a willingness to stay logged in (AFK) overnight in *merchant mode*.

If you dont know how to sell in merchant mode, go find out and come back to this if you care to figure this out.

If you dont know where the black market is, go find that thread and come back if you care to figure this out.

If you read this and dont understand it, im sorry im a programmer not an eloquent writer Jim.

———–

Every night, at least once, check a broker in your city, and the black market broker, for the following:

Beladonna, Gold, Agate selling for ~2s each or less

Carbonite selling for ~1.5s or less

Ash selling for ~1s or less.

buy it all. Ive had two occasions buying 40+ agate/gold at 70cp each. woot.

OVERNIGHT****

then either (non alchemist)

resell at 3s for beladonna, gold, agate

2.5 s for carbonite

2s for ash.

i normally sell about 100 resources a night, thus making at least 1GP / night from 5 slots in inventory.

(alchemist)

make up to 100 neolith temper, 100 thylo RESIN only. sell at 2sp each. keep 100 of each (5 stacks each) in inventory at all times. some nights i sell 0. some nights i sell out. the profit is huge (8SP/resource).

NEXT****

look for copper, lapis lapuzi, ink made from those selling for 1GP/each.

these sell quickly (overnight) for 2GP each

scrolls made from these (the right scroll) sells immediately for 3GP each. you choose your method

NEXT****

look for silver, coral, ink made from those selling for 4gp each or less.

these will immediately sell (overnight) for 5gp

scrolls made from these (for example, renewal of vitae, tellurian recruit, always make the correct scroll) will easily sell for 6gp each.

NEXT****

look for jasper/palladium selling for 8GP or less. buy them and keep for your own uses. Id advise selling these once your lvl 20-29 most key spells are upgraded to adept III. i see them for sale anywhere from 4gp (bought that as fast as i could) to multiple plat. im Guessing a good lowball of 8gp on this. its what id pay right now to use on myself.

LAST****

this is the toughest one to hit successfully, but also the most profitable. i have found two adepts that work almost every time when i find them. I wont give those names out as I still use them almost nightly, its easy to figure out if you put in the effort looking at skill lists however.

if you are in qeynos, you want to buy from the black market, Adept I scrolls for 'GOOD' lvl 20+ skill sets that are popular, not commonly found on Your broker, and selling there for very little (i usually wont buy any over 20sp).

if you are in Freeport, do the same but considering only Evil Adept I's selling on the black market from Qeynos.

this happens fairly often, because the majority of players dont use or know of the black market, and the opposite alignment spell scrolls therefor do not sell in those zones. using the black market you are swiping these for Very cheap. I purchased 2 Grim's for 15sp each, and resold for 1.5GP each in freeport. that is a hint of one scroll that works well when you find it.

do some research on this, crossreference your market to see what is Not showing up for sale there, find out from friends and teammates skills they Wish they had adept I's for but cant find. Buy Those Cheap on the black market, because the opposite aligned city has no use for em.

Craftsman and Fishing Money Guide (EQ2 Map)

June 15th, 2009

When you have 40 fishing. And lvl 12 craftsman. you can start to make some really nice loot..

I went to anitonica and fished for the 3 different type's you can fish for… I went back to my craft house and bought pepper 6cp salt 6cp coal 6cp to make packet of spice.. still getting like 2% per combine at 12th lvl. Made a ton of those. Then went back and bought 60 coal. I then procedded to craft with the fish I caught in anitonica.. fish + packet of spice + coal = finished product.. The finished product sells for 1sp each.. so you spent 6cp times 4 = 24copper and got 1silver for the finished fish hmmmm dare I say pretty good return for investment….

BTW in 3-4 hours total I went from 10 - 15 doing this ( lvl 12 craftsman needed to make the fish from Anitonica I had fish from Forest ruins 8P to get to 12).. LOL had 138 fish to work with… Made lil money but I also bought all my craft books and new back packs for me and my roomate woot 6 slotters.. Oh and at lvl 14 its a good idea to just buy the packet of spice since you dont get xp for it anymore…

Most of my time was spent making packets of spice since I am very cheap

1 Gold Per Hour, Harvesting (Everquest 2 Guide)

June 13th, 2009

I tried to make the title vague so as not to give it away. This is not my find. It was emailed to me by another MPS'er who is on their way out of town. If they want I will post the KUDOs to them when they return. I made over 1 gold last night in about an hour.

Requirements:

Level: does not matter

Membership: Must join one of the local 'crafting' areas(cellar door things)

Just inside the crafting zone you will see a named NPC with NO title. This NPC will give you an Artisan quest to go get a specific thing. IE: electrum clusters, iron, pelts, tubers, rough turquoise etc….

Hail the NPC and get the quest.

TURN AROUND and click the BROKER behind you. Open up the BUY window and do a search for the name of the quest element you are looking for. Enter the name then hit find items. The default is highest priced first(on mine). I go to the last page for the cheapest items. Your reward for the quest is 12 silver so anything below 80 copper per unit will net you a profit. Click buy from broker or you can note the name and travel to the merchants house and save a few copper. I did all mine by just leaving the windows open and clicking away.

Leave your J(ournal) window open as it will update faster than the quest helper window. IF the number quits going up then move up one on the item list as you have depleted that particular merchant. Once you have the required 15 items then hail the named NPC again and receive your reward. Rinse and repeat!!!

DRAWBACKS!!!

I made a bundle but I had bought all the cheap items and started getting quests for items that would cost me 3 or 4 silver more than the reward. I did them anyway hoping to make it up in the long run. I did make money in the end but supplies were getting more expensive.

Remember, the items you are buying are coming from other players who have set themselves up as merchants. I imagine you would have a greater selection during the busiest game times when more people are online.

The QUEST itself: I cannot figure out how to delete thes 'tradeskill' quests so I can get a different item. Some items were really cheap(iron, 6c each..BIG Profit) but average animal pelts where over 1Silver each…-3 loss!! I took the loss on some hoping for the makeup on the other cheap stuff. I know how to delete other quests but these will not go away.

What have I tried delete unwabted tradeskill quests:

1. Ask for a new one, denied!

2. Leave zone and come back, denied!

3. Resign from crafting hall then rejoin, denied!

4. Resign then go to another town and join, denied!

SO as of now I am over a gold richer but stuck with getting my on pelts(seem to be the most expensive btw) or sucking up the 5silver loss in hopes of a good one next.

If we can figure out how to delete the quest or get a better one then we are GOLDEN, or should I say PLATINUM!!

As people start to do this the supplies are gonna go fast and the merchants will be making a killing!

I see this as taking advantage of a good business oppurtunity!!

Unlimited Tin + Mining Skill (EQ2 Alla)

June 10th, 2009

Some people have been talking about how to get there minining up saying there's not enough resources. Well theres PLENTY of resources and no competion to get them.

The key to this lies right at the bottom of Malvonicus tower on the starting Island of Refuge. To make this work correctly thoguh you have to get to lvl 6 with 220% till next level. The reason behind this is that as you progress from lvl 3 your mining skill max increases until you can't continue anymore do to lvl cap. One down fall to this is you'll have to go with out Malvonicus bag that he gives as a quest item for the eternity of your Island stay.

When you first get down there move the bed, table, chair, and ember pile. After doing this go to the rock and harvest. You will receive one tin cluster and one lvl increase in mining. Hit the ladder and go out of the cellar. Repeat this process till you have maxed out your mining skill (Which I think is 40) Unlike when your out in the wilds chopping rock and your skill increases every so often EVERY time that you harvest down below your going to get a mining skill point. When the skill points quit comig in then just keep mining for your tin till you have more then enough. You get on average 100 tin clusters in an hour. Once you hit max mining lvl ( and have all the tin you want) chop the log with your foresting skill and the quest is complete. DO NOT forest the log at any time after you have mined the rock or it will end the quest and your ease of mining and tin harvesting.

One reason for doing this is that when you get to the main land and your out adventuring you can mine A LOT more rocks since your lvl ability is at 40 compared to only being able to mine low lvl rocks. Another advantage of this is that if you want to keep mining past your max lvl you can bring in UNLIMITED tin till your sick and tired of the loading screen.

For the same reason as the max 40 mining I would do this to all skills that you can on Isle of Refuge, Foresting, and harvesting as well. Trust me it will help you more then you know in your future travels in the world. Would you like to go to the market and only be able to select one kind of beer or would you like to have a selection the minute you walk in? Thats what it is if you go to the mainland before you max out those skills. It stinks when you walk by a log, rock or root and cant do anything till you travel 3 sections over to a low area to harvest and compete with everyone else to get the skill up.

Hope this gives some insight into how this works and why you should acheive this before heading to the mainland. It is a grind but not to bad depends on how far you want to pursue it.

I'm sure once the trolls of SOE check this out it will be fixed soon or when a spy posts it somewhere other then here but oh well they'll take it away just like they took away my Threadbare Thread exploit. I'll find more for you though so stay tuned.
