Get a master chest every 15 min (Everquest 2 Money)

The Tome of Life is on a 11 minute respawn timer and will drop a master chest almost every time. The problem is that the placeholder will pop several times before the Tome of Life comes up again.



I found that if you leave the master chest on the ground un-opened and wait the 11 minutes then the Tome of Life will respawn again. I did this for about 3 days and probably got 50 Master 1 spells off it. So, to sumarize in case I confused you.

1. Kill the Tome of Life

2. DO NOT TOUCH THE MASTER CHEST (the time it takes before it decay’s is longer than the respawn time by about 9 minutes.

3. Wait 11 minutes and the Tome of Life will spawn again.



The only problem I have had is when the Tome of Life drops a wooden chest. When this happens you end up getting the placeholder again. I think this is because SOE has set the master chest as being linked to the Tome of Life and the game does not register it as being dead until the chest has exited the game.

This also works with the Weavemaster who is right outside the room with the TOL, the problem is that he drops a master chest about 20 percent of the time so you dont get much of a chance to use the exploit.
